This sweet little Etsy shop is full of handcrafted delights.  Beautiful cracked ice, striped and seed beads along with Czech glass and lovely vintage findings are handcrafted into original jewelry works of art.

Love Elycia is such a fun shop on Etsy. Anytime I visit her shop or hear her shop name it just makes me smile. Over at love Elycia you can pick up a vintage scarf or choose from an array of vintage dresses.


Love Elycia also makes handmade headbands with a decidedly fresh approach. I did some checking around about these headbands and I found out that she has a helper named Moxie. Moxie is very cute. Check her out here.

How I started Crafting

One rainy afternoon 40 years ago in Southeast Georgia, I was fascinated by the crochet hook working its way so swiftly through the yarn in my grandmothers hands. So of course I asked her if she would teach me that magic art. I learned to crochet, then sew and quilt and realized how rewarding it was to create things with my hands. Over the years I moved on to sketching, painting, paper sculpting and stain glass work. Time moved on, I married and had a family. I had beautiful angelic little girls, girls that needed dresses, dance costumes and hair bows. There were beauty pageants complete with rhinestones, sequins, organza and tulle. I stayed busy and happy for years. Alas, the time came and the little angels finished college and flew away. Now I am the grandmother swiftly weaving the rhinestone decorated tulle in to beautiful tutus and joyously twisting ribbon into lovely little hair bows for the newest heavenly arrivals. I feel that you can  never be too old to learn a new craft.    Crafting sometimes can be artist way of showing love.

Halloween night I had the pleasure of trick or treating some of the Besteam shops on Etsy. To my surprise, I only found treats. One of the shops I visited is run by Debbi, Amanda and Alison these amazing women have put together a wide range of products in their Etsy shop, Our home to Yours. Their shop is warm and fuzzy mixed with cool vintage items.

Just look at this handmade rainbow lilac wavy scarf. It looks so soft you just want to reach out and touch it.

A pretty steel blue vintage hat refurbished with new trim and flower. This is the perfect accessories for every fashonista.

The owner, Leyla is a newlywed and she has created a fun group of wonderful holiday gift items. I believe you could fulfill your entire holiday list from this one adorable shop. Children on your list will just love the crochet animals like Gerald the Giraffe or the teen girl on your list might choose to be fashion forward with a handmade organza flower pin. We can’t forget about the writer in the family who will cherish this Vintage Hymn Mini journal. Too much of a good thing carries wall art, photo frames, note cards and cards for all occasions.
